Caucasus Translations, a leading translation and localization company based in Tbilisi, Georgia, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Proofreader and Desktop Publisher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit documents in Georgian and English to ensure the accuracy and clarity of content
- Format and layout documents in various software programs, such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
- Ensure adherence to client-specific formatting guidelines and styles
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects
Requirements:
- Fluency in Georgian and English
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Experience with desktop publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Georgian and English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in proofreading and desktop publishing
- Experience working in a translation or localization company is a plus
