Korean and Georgian documents often move through a practical chain: a company needs records understood in Georgia, a student has education documents, a family has civil-status papers, or a Georgian record is needed for use in South Korea. The right translation package depends on the receiving institution’s instructions, not on a general assumption about certification or authentication.
Korean documents for Georgia
We support Korean↔Georgian translation of official correspondence, personal records, company papers, education files and supporting document sets. Start by identifying the recipient, required target language and whether it has specified an original, certified copy, apostille, legalization, translator statement or notarial form.
Georgian documents for South Korea
For a Georgian document intended for a Korean recipient, obtain the final record first and ask the recipient which language and authentication steps it requires. An authentication certificate does not itself translate a document, and a translation does not decide whether the receiving institution will accept it. Georgia’s Public Service Development Agency guidance is a useful current starting point for Georgian-issued documents used abroad.
Business and corporate records
Contracts, corporate extracts, resolutions, policies, commercial correspondence and powers of attorney require a complete document set. Defined terms can appear in annexes, and representative authority may depend on wording outside the signature page. See foreign company-document guidance and power-of-attorney guidance.
Education, medical and family documentation
Diplomas, transcripts, medical reports, birth certificates and marriage records should retain institutional names, dates, grades, units, official fields and annotations. Translation does not replace an education-recognition decision, medical advice or a registry decision. See Medical Translation Services and document preparation guidance.
Translation, notarization, apostille, legalization and recipient acceptance are different matters. A translation makes the document readable in another language. A notarial step, apostille or legalization may be requested for a particular document and purpose, but none of those steps guarantees that a recipient will accept a file. Confirm the current requirement with the receiving institution before the work is finalized.
Study, medical and longer-term documentation
Education files may include diplomas, transcripts, school records, certificates and course descriptions; medical files may include diagnostic reports, treatment summaries, imaging notes and medication lists. Family, employment and professional records can also be part of a longer-term personal file. Send every page, including reverse sides, stamps and grading explanations. Translation does not determine admission, residence status, clinical eligibility or the receiving institution’s decision.
Interpreting and appointments
If you need oral support for a company meeting, clinic, notary, bank or formal appointment, provide the date, place, subject and language pair early. Availability depends on the appointment details.
Authentication and the recipient’s instructions
Korea and Georgia use the Apostille Convention framework for qualifying public documents, but the relevant authority, document category and receiving institution still matter. An apostille is issued by the competent authority where the document originates; it is not a translation and does not itself settle the recipient’s review. Check the current HCCH authority information and the recipient’s written instructions before finalizing a file.
